1. By Ferry from Port Blair

• Private Ferries – The fastest and most comfortable option for tourists. Popular operators include:

  • Travel Time: 1.5 – 2 hours

  • Online booking available; advance booking is recommended during peak season.

• Government Ferries (DSS) – Operated by the Directorate of Shipping Services.

  • Budget-friendly but slower than private ferries.

  • Tickets must be booked at the DSS office in Port Blair.

  • Travel Time: 2 – 3 hours

2. By Ferry from Havelock (Swaraj Dweep)

• Neil is also directly connected to Havelock Island by both government and private ferries.

• Travel Time: 45 minutes – 1 hour

• Ideal if you’re planning a multi-island trip covering Port Blair → Havelock → Neil.

3. By Helicopter (Limited Service)
